Living within a very strict budget is most motivating and leads us into many back alleys to  find hidden solutions to our sorted challenges.

When two towers each with one meg of ram were running badly, as slow as molasses. I combined the ram in one tower. Not having any sort of windows I tried several different distributions of linux each in turn trying to reach the newest or latest release.

OpenSUSE reached 13.2  but the failure of both Firefox and Chromium to offer viable media players and spotty youtube led me to Ubuntu and the online install for both 14.02 and 15.04. Never before have I had the good fortune of reaching such dizzy heights.

This laptop which is just fine for typing in writer libre office will play youtube and pandora radio but my connection does not buffer very well so I have many breaks in my music.

So I  have to dedicate this to writing and be motivated to do so. While the working tower will be used for broadcasting and social media. An other laptop that currently runs openSUSE use yet undetermined.

The late positive development here is that the dual monitor provides me desktop real estate and allows me more room in which to work. The short fall is the browser choices are very limited to my level of expertise. So trying any form of browsing is most ambitious and mostly very unproductive.

The reward is manifold in Ubi 15 my query in the Software Center for browser results in about 50 options at least 10 being web browsers and the rest of all sort of usefull types such as alsa to configure audio and even a dedicated
youtube browser.

I strongly advised you download and burn it making sure to get the live cd so you can enjoy it for yourself. You just will not be installing any of the cool stuff as you will be running in ram.

After spending the day about my fathers biz. I was driven after a fools errand to find a store I knew would
closed to buy something knowing I would not succeed.

He has chosen the foolish of the world to shame the
wise. Driving amiss I interrogated my whimsical Dad
to what end was my journey for what purpose was I
so far afield.

Upon seeing the sign pulling up and telling Bro Al that
this was the place for us to go as Kingdom Inspectors.
Now getting out of the car door I find ten cents upon the ground a sign that I was right. Did not find more since, had I, then I might be tempted to keep it while the dime was easy to part with for the basket offering.

Pastor Tony was all I want to see in a shepherd that is feeding Dads sheep in testimony of his steadfast love for our Heavenly Father.

With Revo Uninstller and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner I cut down the unmanageable active task list in windows xp from over 16 to a mere six in deference to the host. 

Removed 1200 invalid files and
taught them the cursury cleaning of the registry and control of what starts up with the operating system.

Malware and virus manifest in so many ways now even in the work of uninstalling a malignant program that you did not invite into your computer you are faced with an express uninstaller that installs a few more malignant programs again with no invite. So you have to decline and skip and if that was not enough.Somehow after your hard work to boot out the culprit it sneaks back in once again so you have to do the job all over.

AVAST ANTI WHAT

This is the worst kind of joke. If it is not enough that you have to click your approval each time it does what it was coded for the barrage of pop up web sites trying to sell things you have no interest in buying is cause for only one conclusion good riddance to bad rubbish.

AMAZING

Gamedesktop has so far not returned after being deleted umpteen gazillion times and no more pop up browsers selling things I do not want and I can type this ode of victory on behalf of those we love.
